Historic success for Federico Pellegrino, who won the sprint of Planica, in Slovenia, preceding the French Gros, Jouve and Jay. With this first place (the fourth season, all in speed events) he becomes the most successful Italian cross-country skier in the history of the World Cup. It’s the seventh seal for him: he passed Pietro Piller with six wins (5 victories to Zorzi, 3 Silvio Fauner).
